PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced <b>RN Transfer Coordinator</b> to support patient transfers, direct admissions, and provider consultations through our 24/7 Access Center. You'll serve as the vital connection between referring providers, hospitals, and PeaceHealth care teams, helping ensure patients receive timely access to the care they need.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Coordinate transfers, direct admissions, and consultations.</li><li>Serve as a liaison for referring physicians and healthcare facilities.</li><li>Facilitate communication between providers and PeaceHealth specialists.</li><li>Support STEMI, Stroke, Trauma, Maternal/Neonatal, and other transfer protocols.</li><li>Collaborate with Bed Management and Staffing Services.</li><li>Perform clinical reviews and determine appropriate admission status using InterQual criteria.</li><li>Ensure compliance with EMTALA, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Current RN license required.</li><li>BLS required upon hire; ACLS preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience.</li><li>At least 1 year of recent ED, Triage, Critical Care, or Charge RN experience.</li><li>BSN preferred.</li><li>Transfer Center, Call Center, Charge RN, or Lead RN experience preferred.</li></ul><h3>Why PeaceHealth?</h3><p>At PeaceHealth, you'll join a mission-driven healthcare system committed to compassionate care, inclusion, and caregiver wellbeing.
