<h3>PS Data Analyst Description</h3><br /><p>We are looking for a Data Analyst who applies developed subject matter expertise to solve both common and complex business challenges within established guidelines. This role recommends data-driven solutions, works across diverse datasets, and contributes to impactful decision-making. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, exercises independent judgment within defined policies, and effectively navigates ambiguous or unique situations. This role may act as a team or project lead, guiding activities, supporting decision-making, and validating insights across stakeholders.</p><br /><h3>Responsibilities</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Participates as a member of team of other data analysts carrying out the investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data science projects to generate new insights, products, technologies, and intellectual property.</li><br /><li>Creates plans, data collection and analysis procedures and data insight visualizations for assigned projects.</li><br /><li>Collaborates with internal and external partners to perform experiments and validations in accordance with overall plan.</li><br /><li>Collaborates with SMEs to develop procedures for collecting, recording, analyzing, and communicating data for review and feedback.</li><br /><li>Prepares literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events and conferences; creates patent applications and supporting documentation.</li><br /><li>Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Knowledge &amp; Skills</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies, statistical concepts, and data validation techniques.</li><br /><li>Strong Project Management Skills.</li><br /><li>Proficiency in Python for data analysis.</li><br /><li>Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau to build dashboards and communicate insights effectively.</li><br /><li>Foundational knowledge of AI, including the ability to use AI-enabled tools to enhance data analysis.</li><br /><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li><br /><li>Ability to work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.</li><br /><li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><br /><li>Ability to influence stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making at different organizational levels.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Scope &amp; Impact</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Collaborates with peers, junior data scientists and engineers, SMEs and external and internal research and product development partners.</li><br /><li>Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers and Program Core Teams.</li><br /><li>Participates in projects requiring data science engineering.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Education &amp; Experience</h3><br /><p>Bachelor's, Master's or PHD degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent. 4-6 years’ experience including graduate or postgraduate research.</p><br /><p>The pay range for this role is $83,000 to $127,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
