The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating complex business needs into clear, validated requirements and supporting successful technology solutions from planning through implementation.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and end users in a collaborative environment while contributing to the successful delivery of enterprise-level technology initiatives.</p><h3>Position Details</h3><ul><li><b>Position:</b> Business Analyst</li><li><b>Location:</b> Albany, NY</li><li><b>Work Arrangement:</b> <b>Onsite</b></li><li><b>Interview:</b> <b>In-person</b></li><li><b>Duration:</b> 30 Months</li><li><b>Hourly Rate:</b> $55.21/hour</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><p>The successful candidate must have:</p><ul><li><b>7 years </b>of experience eliciting and analyzing stakeholder business needs using a variety of analysis techniques and converting them into verified and validated <b>functional and non-functional requirements</b> for development, including: Functional requirements, Non-functional requirements, Report requirements, Business rules</li><li><b>7 years </b>of experience creating and maintaining software development artifacts for communicating requirements, including:Business cases, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Use cases, Report mockups, Wireframes, Flow diagrams, Context diagrams, Textual use cases, Swim lane diagrams, Report specifications, User interface specifications, Non-functional requirements specifications, End-user documentation</li><li><b>7 years </b>of experience facilitating requirements workshops, including <b>Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions</b> and structured walkthroughs.</li><li><b>6 years </b>of experience managing requirements throughout the <b>requirements management lifecycle</b>, including: Creating and executing requirements management plans, Developing and maintaining requirements traceability matrices, Establishing requirements baselines, Managing requirements change control</li><li><b>5 years </b>of experience creating <b>test plans and test cases</b> and working with users during <b>User Acceptance Testing (UAT)</b>.</li><li><b>3 years</b>of experience eliciting requirements for <b>Learning Management System (LMS) projects</b> and supporting the implementation of those requirements.</li><li><b>CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)</b> certification from the <b>International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)</b>.</li><li><b>Bachelor’s degree</b> in one of the following fields: Business Intelligence, Information Science, Criminal Justice, Health Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Public Administration, Business Administration</li></ul><h3><b>Key Skills</b></h3><p>The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong skills in:</p><ul><li>Business and requirements analysis</li><li>Stakeholder communication</li><li>Requirements elicitation and validation</li><li>Business process analysis</li><li>Requirements documentation</li><li>Requirements traceability and change management</li><li>JAD sessions and requirements workshops</li><li>Use cases and process modeling</li><li>Wireframes and report specifications</li><li>Test planning and UAT</li><li>Learning Management System (LMS) projects</li><li>Cross-functional collaboration</li></ul><h3>Work Environment</h3><p>This position is <b>fully onsite in Albany, NY</b>, and candidates should be prepared to attend an <b>in-person interview</b> as part of the selection process.</p><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
