<div><h3>Fieldwork Coordinator, Department of Elementary Education</h3><p>Job no: 551941<br />Work type: Instructional Faculty - Temporary/Lecturer<br />Location: San Francisco<br />Categories: Unit 3 - CFA - California Faculty Association, Temporary, Part Time, Faculty - Education/Library Science, On-site (work in-person at business location)</p><p>The Fieldwork Coordinator will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Identifying and onboarding Cooperating Teachers for Multiple Subject, PK-3, and Bilingual Authorization</li><li>Matching teacher candidates with cooperating teachers and maintaining accurate placement records</li><li>Providing training for cooperating teachers in accordance with CTC standards</li><li>Coordinating the process for onboarding and supporting intern teachers enrolled in the credential program</li><li>Providing training and oversight for student teaching supervisors</li><li>Maintaining records of student teaching supervision evaluation, in accordance with accreditation requirements</li><li>Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with partner school districts</li><li>Ensuring that the department meets CTC clinical practice standards for the Multiple Subject, PK-3 Early Childhood Specialist Instruction, and Bilingual authorization credentials</li><li>Collaborating with the department chair, staff, and faculty to maintain coherent and supportive teacher preparation pathways</li></ul><p>Professional Development Opportunities: San Francisco State University supports faculty with professional development opportunities such as ongoing training through the Center for Equity and Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CEETL).</p><p>Application Process: Applicants are required to upload the following documents:<br /></p><ul><li>a cover letter expressing interest in the Fieldwork Coordinator position</li><li>a current Curriculum Vitae, including details of current and previous teaching and supervisory experience</li><li>a brief statement of teaching philosophy</li></ul><p>Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
