SFC Developer / Manufacturing Systems Developer

<h3>Job Summary</h3><br /><p>We are looking for an experienced <b>SFC Developer / Manufacturing Systems Developer</b> to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our manufacturing SFC/MES systems.</p><br /><p>This is a developer-level position. The primary focus is <b>code-level analysis, software development, database changes, API development, system-logic analysis, debugging, and permanent resolution of complex SFC issues</b>.</p><br /><p>The ideal candidate has strong <b>Java, Oracle/PLSQL, software troubleshooting, and logical problem-solving skills</b>, with the ability to understand the relationship between manufacturing processes, application logic, and database data.</p><br /><p>The position will work closely with the SFC development team, onsite IT, IE, PE, QA, manufacturing, and other technical teams. <b>Chinese-speaking ability is preferred</b>.</p><br /><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><br /><h3>1. SFC Development &amp; Troubleshooting</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Develop, maintain, enhance, and support SFC/MES applications.</li><br /><li>Perform <b>source-code analysis, debugging, and system-logic analysis</b> to identify root causes.</li><br /><li>Troubleshoot complex production issues using application logs, source code, APIs, database records, and manufacturing-process analysis.</li><br /><li>Implement <b>permanent software fixes</b> rather than temporary workarounds.</li><br /><li>Develop new functions and modify existing SFC functionality.</li><br /><li>Support the continued development of the SFC platform, with a primary focus on <b>Java-based technologies</b>.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>2. Database &amp; API Development</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Develop and maintain <b>Oracle SQL/PLSQL</b>, including:<br /><ul><br /><li>Stored procedures</li><br /><li>Functions</li><br /><li>Packages</li><br /><li>Queries</li><br /></ul><br /></li><br /><li>Analyze production data and perform controlled data corrections when required.</li><br /><li>Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot <b>REST APIs and system integrations</b>.</li><br /><li>Analyze application, API, and database interactions to resolve system issues.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>3. Collaboration &amp; Deployment</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Work closely with the SFC development team to resolve complex technical issues.</li><br /><li>Collaborate with IT, IE, PE, QA, manufacturing, and other technical teams.</li><br /><li>Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production validation.</li><br /><li>Document system logic, root causes, corrective actions, and permanent fixes.</li><br /><li>Support production issues when software-level intervention is required.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Strong professional experience in <b>Java software development</b>.</li><br /><li>Strong <b>Oracle Database and SQL/PLSQL</b> experience.</li><br /><li>Experience with one or more of:<br /><ul><br /><li>Spring Boot</li><br /><li>MyBatis</li><br /><li>Java Web / Servlet</li><br /><li>REST APIs</li><br /><li>Backend development</li><br /></ul><br /></li><br /><li>Strong source-code analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.</li><br /><li>Strong logical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.</li><br /><li>Ability to understand complex application logic and unfamiliar source code.</li><br /><li>Good understanding of relational databases, transactions, stored procedures, and data integrity.</li><br /><li>Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed development teams.</li><br /><li>Strong ownership and responsibility for production system stability.</li><br /><li>Chinese-speaking ability strongly preferred.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Education &amp; Certifications</h3><br /><ul><br /><li><b>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.</b></li><br /><li>Equivalent education combined with strong relevant software development experience may be considered.</li><br /><li><b>Relevant certifications in Java, Oracle/SQL/PLSQL, Spring/Spring Boot, software engineering, database development, Linux, MES, or SFC technologies are a plus.</b></li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><br /><ul><br /><li><b>Experience with SFC, MES, manufacturing execution, or shop-floor systems</b>.</li><br /><li>Experience in electronics or high-volume manufacturing.</li><br /><li>Understanding of SMT, assembly, testing, repair/rework, and packing processes.</li><br /><li>Experience with manufacturing databases and production data analysis.</li><br /><li>Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.</li><br /><li>Experience with Git/version control and software deployment.</li><br /><li>Linux and/or Windows application experience.</li><br /><li>Delphi/Pascal experience is a plus</li><br /><li>, particularly for supporting legacy SFC modules, but is not a primary requirement. Future SFC development will primarily be Java-based.</li><br /><li>Chinese language</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Key Candidate Profile</h3><br /><p>The ideal candidate is a <b>software engineer</b>, not simply an onsite support specialist.</p><br /><p>The candidate should be able to:</p><br /><ul><br /><li>Read and understand existing source code.</li><br /><li>Analyze application architecture and system logic.</li><br /><li>Trace issues from the manufacturing process through application code and database transactions.</li><br /><li>Identify root causes using logs, source code, APIs, and database data.</li><br /><li>Make appropriate code, database, or API changes.</li><br /><li>Test, deploy, and validate permanent solutions.</li><br /><li>Quickly learn complex SFC functionality.</li><br /><li>Take ownership of an issue through final resolution.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Position Scope &amp; Development Expectations</h3><br /><p>Complex SFC issues may require <b>source-code review, system-logic analysis, database procedure changes, API changes, data correction, or code-level debugging</b>.
