Senior Product Designer

Designer</b> to help shape the next generation of our consumer experiences.</p><br /><p>This is a role for a designer who is equally comfortable <b>creating something new and improving something at scale.</b> Depending on the product area, you may help define a new experience from the ground up or own and evolve a core part of one of our established marketplaces.</p><br /><p>You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and Design leadership to understand customer problems, define opportunities, explore solutions, and bring thoughtful, high-quality experiences to market.</p><br /><p>We’re looking for someone who can operate with autonomy, bring clarity to ambiguity, and connect strong UX and visual craft with customer and business outcomes.</p><br /><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Own end-to-end product design for a significant product area, from discovery and early concepts through launch, measurement, and iteration.</li><br /><li>Turn complex customer and business problems into clear, intuitive experiences across responsive web and mobile products.</li><br /><li>Explore and define 0→1 experiences, helping teams move from an emerging opportunity to a clear product direction and testable MVP.</li><br /><li>Evolve existing marketplace experiences by identifying opportunities to improve usability, engagement, conversion, and customer value.</li><br /><li>Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define problems, shape requirements, establish scope, and make thoughtful product trade-offs.</li><br /><li>Use customer research, behavioral data, analytics, experimentation, and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.</li><br /><li>Create user flows, concepts, prototypes, and polished production-ready designs appropriate to each stage of the product development process.</li><br /><li>Think beyond individual screens to design cohesive journeys, systems, states, and interactions.</li><br /><li>Work directly with engineers throughout implementation to maintain design quality while navigating technical constraints.</li><br /><li>Contribute to and evolve our design systems, patterns, and shared product conventions.</li><br /><li>Clearly communicate design rationale and product thinking to partners and senior stakeholders.</li><br /><li>Raise the bar for product quality through strong interaction design, visual craft, systems thinking, and attention to detail.</li><br /><li>Contribute to a strong design culture through critique, and collaboration.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>What You Should Have</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>5+ years of product design experience, ideally working on consumer-facing digital products.</li><br /><li>A strong portfolio demonstrating shipped product work and your role in taking problems from discovery through execution and iteration.</li><br /><li>Experience owning complex product areas or initiatives with a high degree of autonomy.</li><br /><li>Strong product thinking and the ability to connect customer needs, business goals, and technical realities.</li><br /><li>Demonstrated ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems rather than relying on fully defined requirements.</li><br /><li>Excellent UX and interaction design skills, with the ability to simplify complex workflows and systems.</li><br /><li>Strong visual design craft, including hierarchy, typography, layout, spacing, responsive behavior, and interaction states.</li><br /><li>Experience using qualitative research, quantitative data, and experimentation to inform product decisions.</li><br /><li>Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, shared libraries, prototyping, and scalable design systems.</li><br /><li>Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.</li><br /><li>Strong communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.</li><br /><li>Experience using AI tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, content development, or other parts of the product design process.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Nice to Have</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Experience designing for marketplaces, e-commerce, fintech, or other multi-sided consumer ecosystems.</li><br /><li>Experience taking a new product, feature, or service from 0→1.</li><br /><li>Experience working on high-traffic consumer products where design decisions can be measured through behavioral or business outcomes.</li><br /><li>Experience with conversion funnels, lead generation, transactions, or other high-intent customer journeys.</li><br /><li>Experience contributing to or scaling a multi-brand or multi-platform design system.</li><br
