<div><p>This charter school is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Special Education Team. This is a part-time or full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will serve one or more campuses, to be determined at a later date. This position has the option to be a hybrid position, working 1-2 days on campus and 1-2 days remotely.</p><br /><p>This school provides a challenging, accelerated curriculum where academic excellence, character development, and individual growth are nurtured in a safe, orderly and pleasant environment.</p><br /><p>National BCBA credential, a state-issued Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential, and specific professional educator licensing through the Utah State Board of Education is required. However, applicants in the middle of this process will also be considered.</p><br /><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Data Collection: Setting up systems to track both challenging behaviors and new skill acquisition.</li><br /><li>Program Adjustments: Reviewing student data frequently to modify interventions and ensure the student is actually progressing toward their goals.</li><br /><li>Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA): Observing students to determine the root cause and triggers of disruptive behaviors and completing these reports accordingly.</li><br /><li>Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP): Collaborating with special education teams to design, write, and implement proactive behavior plans.</li><br /><li>Modifying Interventions: Continuously analyzing data and adjusting behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to boost performance.</li><br /><li>Staff Training: Coaching teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals on evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).</li><br /><li>RBT Supervision: Overseeing Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or instructional assistants to ensure behavior plans are executed with fidelity.</li><br /><li>Family Collaboration: Bridging the gap between school and home by consulting with parents on behavior strategies that can be used consistently in both environments.</li><br /></ul><br /><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><br /><ul><br /><li>Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings.</li><br /><li>Strong knowledge of evidence-based applied behavior analysis.</li><br /><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.</li><br /><li>Flexibility in schedule to attend IEP meetings in person or virtually as needed.</li><br /></ul><br /><p>Pay: $75,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year, based on experience</p><br /><p>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Syracuse, UT 84075</p></div><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
