Job Description<div>Job Description<div>Description: <p><br /></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> NY/NJ Northeast US Territory (Local to the Area Required)<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> $80,000–$145,000 + Commission + Bonus + Company Car<br /><strong>Travel:</strong> Approximately 75% </p>About the Opportunity <p>RITA Corporation is seeking an experienced <strong>B2B Technical Sales Representative</strong> to develop and manage customer relationships throughout the Northeast.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished outside sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing new business, and managing a territory with a high level of independence.</p><p><strong>Experience selling specialty chemicals, raw materials, ingredients, personal care, cosmetics, home care, cleaning products, or other technical products is highly preferred, but not required.</strong> We will also consider successful B2B sales professionals from related technical or manufacturing industries who have the ability and interest to learn our products and markets.</p><p>This is a true field sales position. The successful candidate will spend approximately <strong>3–4 days per week visiting customers throughout the territory</strong> and work remotely from home when not traveling.</p><p><strong>Candidates must reside in New York or New Jersey.</strong></p><br /> About RITA Corporation <p>For more than 70 years, RITA Corporation has supplied specialty and commodity ingredients and raw materials to manufacturers across the <strong>personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, home care, and related chemical industries</strong>.</p><p>Our sales professionals work closely with customers in purchasing, R&D, formulation, quality, and management to identify ingredient solutions, support product development, and build lasting business partnerships.</p><br /> What You'll Do <p><strong>Develop & Grow Your Territory</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and grow existing customer accounts throughout the Northeast.</li><li>Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.</li><li>Build relationships with purchasing, R&D, formulation, QC/QA, and other key decision-makers.</li><li>Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business, products, applications, and ingredient needs.</li><li>Introduce customers to additional products and solutions within RITA's portfolio.</li></ul><p><strong>Consultative & Technical Sales</strong></p><ul><li>Learn RITA's portfolio of specialty chemicals, raw materials, and functional ingredients.</li><li>Work with customers to understand their product and formulation needs and recommend appropriate solutions.</li><li>Partner with RITA's Technical Services, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to support customer needs.</li><li>Coordinate product samples, technical requests, pricing, and follow-up activities.</li></ul><p><strong>Business Development & Market Intelligence</strong></p><ul><li>Prospect for new customers and applications within personal care, cosmetics, home care, cleaning, pharmaceutical, and related markets.</li><li>Identify market trends, competitive activity, pricing changes, and new business opportunities.</li><li>Attend customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and company sales meetings.</li><li>Develop and maintain a strong professional network within the territory.</li></ul><p><strong>Territory Management</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor customer activity, sales performance, order history, and growth opportunities.</li><li>Prepare sales forecasts, customer call reports, monthly itineraries, and other sales documentation.</li><li>Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain regarding forecasts and customer demand.</li><li>Manage territory expenses responsibly while maximizing sales opportunities and profitability.</li></ul>Why Join RITA?
