<div><h3>OVERVIEW:</h3><br /> <p>Senior Data Analyst on the Domain Analytics Team, part of M&T’s Customer Insights & Analytics Organization.</p><br /> <p>We provide analytical insights that empower Marketing and Digital Product organizations to drive business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and accelerate digital adoption.</p><br /> <h3>Our work spans:</h3><br /> <ul><br /> <li>Experimentation & Measurement – Designing and analyzing tests to optimize customer acquisition for Retail and Business Banking segments.</li><br /> <li>Cross-Channel Analytics & Attribution – Understanding how customers interact across channels and identifying what drives engagement.</li><br /> <li>Digital Journey Analytics – Uncovering insights from web and app behaviors to improve customer experiences.</li><br /> <li>Digital Product Enablement – Partnering with product teams across the development lifecycle to support new feature launches with data and performance measurement.</li><br /> <li>Data Products & Ad‑Hoc Analysis – Building dashboards and self‑service tools, and delivering quick‑turn insights to answer business questions.</li><br /> </ul><br /> <h3>LOCATION:</h3><br /> <p>This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring onsite presence four days per week at one of M&T Bank’s regional offices. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to one of the following locations:</p><br /> <ul><br /> <li>345 Main Street, Buffalo, NY</li><br /> <li>115 Federal Street, Boston, MA</li><br /> <li>1 Light Street, Baltimore, MD</li><br /> <li>1350 I Street NW, Washington, DC</li><br /> <li>1100 North Market Street, Wilmington, DE</li><br /> <li>277 Park Avenue, New York, NY</li><br /> <li>850 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT</li><br /> <li>77 Pine Street, Burlington, VT</li><br /> </ul><br /> <h3>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</h3><br /> <ul><br /> <li>Explore, mine, and profile data across multiple large complex datasets to gain and interpret insights for use in statistical and quantitative analytics.</li><br /> <li>Collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical solutions.</li><br /> <li>Support high‑quality analytics delivery by conducting data quality checks, collaborating on data model design, and applying best practices for code documentation and storage.</li><br /> <li>Conduct complex data manipulation and analysis with common programming languages.</li><br /> <li>Track and report performance of multiple campaigns. Identify deviations and explain variances. Consolidate findings for business consumption.</li><br /> <li>Develop business intelligence solutions designed to meet business needs.</li><br /> <li>Mentor junior team members and engage with peer teams.</li><br /> <li>Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk‑related issues needing escalation to management.</li><br /> <li>Design, implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk‑related issues needing escalation to management.</li><br /> <li>Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.</li><br /> <li>Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.</li><br /> </ul><br /> <h3>MANAGERIAL/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:</h3><br /> <p>No supervisory responsibility.</p><br /> <h3>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:</h3><br /> <p>Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.</p><br /> <ul><br /> <li>Experience with data analysis and statistical tools</li><br /> <li>Experience working in large databases</li><br /> <li>Experience in SQL and familiarity with common program languages for data analysis (SAS, Python, R).</li><br /> <li>Experience analyzing large data sets and explaining results of analysis through concise written and verbal communication.</li><br /> </ul><br /> <h3>IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:</h3><br /> <ul><br /> <li>6 or more years related work experience in data analysis</li><br /> <li>Expert skills in SQL and working with relational databases.</li><br /> <li>Experience in programming languages such as SAS, Python, R.</li><br /> <li>Experience with data visualization tool (PowerBI, Tableau)</li><br /> <li>Experience with one or more cloud databases.<br /> </li><li>Experience working within an agile environment.</li><br /> <li>Experience analyzing web and digital product data, such as website traffic, user behavior, and events generated by web applications.</li><br /> </ul><br /> <p>M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $113,300.00 - $188,800.00 Annual (USD).
