Senior Accounting Analyst

One of our clients in San Antonio, Texas is looking to bring on a Senior Accounting Analyst to their team immediately. <br /><br />Job Responsibilities of the Senior Accounting Analyst <br /><br /> <ul><br /> <li>Prepare cost transfer entries on a monthly basis</li><br /> <li>Participate in the monthly consolidated close, including extended work hours during close to meet deadlines</li><br /> <li>Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP</li><br /> <li>Prepare financial statements and related analyses</li><br /> <li>Prepare account reconciliations for related accounts and resolve any discrepancies</li><br /> <li>Execute internal controls to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP</li><br /> <li>Support internal and external audits</li><br /> <li>Other duties as assigned</li><br /> </ul><br /> Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accounting Analyst<br /> <ul><br /> <li>Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)</li><br /> <li>1-2 years of accounting experience</li><br /> <li>Strong project management skills - able to work on multiple projects concurrently</li><br /> <li>Proficient with common PC software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)</li><br /> <li>Must be a U.S. citizen</li><br /> <li>Deltek Costpoint software experience</li><br /> <li>Government contracting experience</li><br /> </ul><br /> <br /><br /><span>Click here to apply online</span>
