As a private partnership, we believe our ownership structure fosters a long‑term view that aligns our perspectives with those of our clients.<br />Position Overview<br /><br />This position sits within the Finance function and plays a critical role in how the firm plans, forecasts, and governs compensation expense. The role is focused on management of position and cost data, reporting, expense management and financial governance, partnering closely with Global Compensation, Human Resources, and senior leaders to support decision‑making and execution. This individual will support the end‑to‑end financial process for compensation including forecasting and reporting, translating complex data into actionable insights, and provide thoughtful guidance on trade‑offs, risks, and implications for the business. The role requires strong attention to detail and comfort operating independently. This individual needs to be process focused, excited to build on current momentum on investments in platforms & systems, and be open and curious to adopting AI/new technologies.<br />Responsibilities<br /><br />Oversee and execute position management activities and governance, including review and approval of new, changed, and backfilled roles; maintain cost targets<br />Ensure accurate and timely position, headcount, and compensation data within Workday and related systems<br />Provide comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to evaluate firm performance and identify areas for improvement<br />Monitor progress against approved compensation plans and proactively surface risks, issues, and trade‑offs<br />Produce recurring standard work including financial reporting packages/analysis for CFO/Leadership team<br />Support the design and development efforts to implement innovative solutions to enable growth, enhance decision‑making and drive efficiency (e.g. workforce planning system implementation)<br />Serve as a trusted Finance advisor in compensation‑related discussions, including Quarterly Business Reviews and senior leadership forums<br />Maintain highest standards of confidentiality and integrity<br />Qualifications<br /><br />Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus<br />Demonstrable (3‑5+ years) relevant work experience in analytical roles, with a proven track record of process improvement, innovation, and disciplined execution<br />Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data and provide forward‑looking analysis & recommendations<br />Advanced technical skills (e.g. Excel, Workday, PowerBI, Tableau) are strongly preferred; demonstrated interest in leveraging AI tools to automate processes, reporting and analysis; Anaplan experience is a nice to have<br />Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills<br />Job Details<br /><br />Job Title:<br /><br />Compensation Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis<br />Job Family:<br /><br />Finance<br />Location:<br /><br />280 Congress<br />Compensation & Benefits<br /><br />Base salary range: USD80,000-150,000. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/or Incentives, if eligible.
