Economic Analyst job at Nouvelle Analytics. Austin, TX.<br /><br />Analyst and Senior Analyst:<br /><br />Analysts with Nouvelle Analytics work with project managers to advise companies, individuals, and their attorneys on a broad range of issues in connection with litigation, mediation and arbitration. Clients rely on our expertise when dealing with complex business matters or when facing a dispute or potential dispute. As an Analyst, you will focus the large majority of your time on intellectual property related engagements with a secondary emphasis on general commercial dispute engagements. Intellectual property valuation matters will focus primarily on patented technology but will also include valuation of trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, know-how, and license agreements. Intellectual property valuation assignments will be performed in many different contexts including: transaction advisory (buy-sell, licensing, M&A, joint ventures, etc.), strategic decision-making, and others. General commercial dispute engagements may include fraud, breach of contract, and business interruption matters.<br /><br />Responsibilities:<br /><br />Coordinating engagements to ensure the end product will support thorough and grounded expert opinions and/or provide quality consulting services to attorneys within established time frames<br /><br />Providing guidance to attorneys on key financial and business issues<br /><br />Developing and/or evaluating damages claims and calculations<br /><br />Creating financial models, cash flow analyses, completing business related valuations, and other analyses as dictated by the needs of the client company or transaction<br /><br />Drafting of internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports<br /><br />Requirements:<br /><br />Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Accounting, or Finance from an accredited college or university<br /><br />Minimum GPA 3.2/4.0<br /><br />Strong financial modeling skills<br /><br />Thorough knowledge of corporate finance principles and financial statements<br /><br />Strong mathematical, analytical, research, comprehension and quantitative skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills<br /><br />Excellent time management and organization skills<br /><br />Ability to master new tasks quickly<br /><br />Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity<br /><br />Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment<br /><br />Demonstrated commitment to obtaining outstanding results<br /><br />Computer proficiency and ability to maximize applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
