Software Developer Engineer Test

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer Engineer Test with strong expertise in automated testing and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and maintaining automated test scripts, leading technical teams, and working within Agile and CI/CD environments. This role involves hands-on coding, test automation, exploratory testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.<br />Key Responsibilities:<br />Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to support software quality.<br />Lead and mentor QA team members, conduct code reviews, and provide design support.<br />Write and maintain test automation code using .NET, C#, or other OOP languages.<br />Utilize Selenium WebDriver for web application testing automation.<br />Apply acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) using Gherkin language tools like Cucumber, JBehave, or SpecFlow.<br />Participate in Agile development processes and support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.<br />Work with Jenkins, Bamboo, and GIT for build automation and source control.<br />Perform exploratory testing to uncover issues beyond scripted tests.<br />Use industry-standard tools like JIRA, MTM, Zephyr, or HP Quality Center for bug tracking and test management.<br />Apply web services virtualization techniques to simulate and test services.<br />Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.<br />Required Skills:<br /><br />8+ years in Software Quality Assurance with 6+ years in automated test development.<br />Proficiency in .NET, C#, or similar object-oriented programming languages.<br />Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.<br />Experience with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) using Gherkin-based tools.<br />Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.<br />Experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, and GIT.<br />Strong exploratory testing skills.<br />Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, MTM, Zephyr, HPQ).<br />Ability to perform detailed code reviews.<br />Preferred Skills:<br /><br />Prior technical lead experience with mentoring and code review responsibilities.<br />Knowledge of web services virtualization techniques.<br />Certifications:<br /><br />Relevant certifications in software testing or Agile methodologies are a plus.<br />Education:<br />Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
