We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.<br /><br />About The Role<br />As a<br /><br />Senior Financial Analyst<br /><br />based in Humanoid’s Boston office, you will be a trusted finance partner to the business. This hands-on, individual contributor role is ideal for someone with expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and a solid working knowledge of accounting. You will support Humanoid’s budgeting, spend approvals, cash-flow monitoring, and scenario modeling across a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.<br /><br />In this role you'll stay current on the rules and regulations that affect our business while proactively identifying opportunities—such as R&D tax credits, grants, and incentives that can strengthen Humanoid and inform decision‑making. In this fast-moving startup, you will apply strong analytical skills and sound business judgement to turn financial detail into clear, actionable guidance for leaders.<br /><br />If you want your analysis to directly shape the growth of one of the world's leading humanoid robotics companies, we'd love to hear from you.<br /><br />What You’ll Do<br />Planning, Budgeting & Approvals<br />Budgeting & forecasting: Partner with teams across Humanoid to build, maintain, and update the annual budget and rolling forecasts, and track performance against plan.<br />Spend approvals: Review and support the approval of purchases, expenses, and commitments, ensuring they align with budget, policy, and financial controls.<br />Business partnering: Act as the go-to finance resource for leaders across the business, providing analysis and recommendations that guide day‑to‑day and strategic decisions.<br /><br />Cash Flow & Financial Analysis<br />Cash-flow monitoring: Monitor and forecast cash flow, working capital, and liquidity across entities, flagging risks and opportunities early.<br />Scenario modeling: Build and maintain financial models and "what-if" scenarios to support planning, investment, and operational decisions — including hardware unit economics and scaling assumptions.<br />Reporting & insight: Prepare and present financial results, variance analysis, and KPIs, translating the numbers into clear, actionable insight for leadership and the Board.<br /><br />Compliance, Research & Business Support<br />Accounting awareness: Apply a working familiarity with accounting rules (IFRS / GAAP) to ensure analysis, accruals, and reporting are sound and consistent with the books.<br />Regulatory awareness: Stay current on rules, regulations, and reporting requirements across Humanoid's jurisdictions, and factor them into planning.<br />Incentives research: Proactively research R&D tax credits, grants, and incentives relevant to robotics and advanced manufacturing, and quantify their impact for decision-makers — partnering with the tax and treasury teams.<br /><br />What We’re Looking For<br />Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.<br />5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a comparable finance role.<br />Working familiarity with accounting rules (IFRS / GAAP) and how they affect financial reporting and analysis.<br />Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.<br />Ability to implement or quickly learn new FP&A tools<br />Usage of AI tools to create efficiencies<br />Advanced Excel and financial-modeling skills; experience with an ERP / accounting system (e.g. SAP).<br />Strong research skills and intellectual curiosity, with the initiative to investigate credits, grants, and regulatory topics independently.<br />Excellent analytical, communication, and business‑partnering skills, with high attention to detail.<br /><br />Nice To Have<br />CFA, ACA/ACCA/CIMA, CPA, CMA, or MBA (or active progress toward one).<br />Experience in a high‑growth, venture‑backed startup or scale‑up, ideally in hardware, robotics, deep tech, or manufacturing.<br />Familiarity with R&D tax credits, grants, or incentive programs relevant to the business.<br />Experience supporting a multi‑entity or multi‑currency group as an embedded finance partner.<br />Familiarity with data visualization tools.<br /><br />What We Offer<br />Comprehensive health coverage for US-based employees, including fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, with virtual care and employee assistance resources.<br />Meaningful time off to rest and recharge: 23 days of PTO (accrued), separate sick leave, and paid company holidays.<br />401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match.<br />Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.<br />Free daily catered lunch, snacks, and drinks in‑office.<br />Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
