This role will bridge advanced data analytics with business and financial analysis, supporting projects that include mergers & acquisitions, cost savings initiatives, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be adept at both data-driven problem solving and structured business analysis, bringing consulting expertise and a proven ability to deliver insights that drive business outcomes.<br />Key Responsibilities<br /><br />Data Analytics & Reporting<br />Build and manage reports and dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled tools.<br />Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to cost savings, profitability, and operational efficiency.<br />Develop KPIs and performance tracking mechanisms to support executive decision-making.<br />Financial Analysis & Modeling<br />Construct and interpret financial models for M&A, including synergy analysis, cost takeout, and profit/cost impact assessments.<br />Support deal teams with data-driven insights to inform negotiations, valuation, and post-deal integration planning.<br />Conduct scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and forecasting.<br />Business Analysis<br />Lead process documentation, mapping, and reengineering initiatives to optimize workflows.<br />Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable solutions.<br />Support organizational change initiatives by assessing business impacts and designing reporting mechanisms for leadership.<br />Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement<br />Deliver structured presentations and insights to executives and cross-functional teams.<br />Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for decision-makers.<br />Collaborate across consulting and client teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.<br />Required Qualifications<br /><br />6+ years of combined experience in business analysis and data analysis, ideally within consulting or commercial project environments.<br />Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and experience applying AI tools for analytics.<br />Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, particularly in M&A, cost savings, and profit/cost analysis.<br />Proven ability to document, map, and reengineer business processes.<br />Experience engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, delivering structured analysis, and presenting findings.<br />Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.<br />Preferred Qualifications<br /><br />Prior consulting experience with private equity, corporate M&A, or transformation projects.<br />Familiarity with ERP/CRM data environments (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.).<br />Strong communication and presentation skills.<br />Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment while managing multiple projects.<br />What We Offer<br /><br />Competitive compensation package.<br />Flexible work options (Washington, DC or remote).<br />Exposure to high-impact M&A and transformation projects.<br />Collaborative team culture with opportunities for professional growth.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
