Responsibilities<br /><br />ThredUp is looking for a Product Designer to join our team. For anyone who wants to shop or sell second hand, ThredUp’s design and research team provides joyful, crafted, and meaningful user experiences that execute on ThredUp’s mission. In this role, you will support high impact, high visibility projects focusing on inventing the future of social commerce and secondhand fashion at ThredUp. Day to day you can expect to partner closely with product management, data science, brand marketing, content, research and engineering to develop products within our core marketplace experience<br /><br />Collaborate with product management partners to refine product strategy & project goals, brainstorm ideas, define customer workflows, prototype interactions, conduct research and launch new products and services<br /><br />Oversee and provide design deliverables for product initiatives from insight to strategy to launch across native apps and mobile web<br /><br />Conduct user research to understand user needs and pain points. Ideally prototype in code and have even shipped code into production.<br /><br />3-5 years of experience as a digital product designer shipping products on cross functional teams.<br /><br />Experience working solo or with user research teams to conduct user testing, mixed methods research, and usability evaluations.<br /><br />Data driven: you have exposure collaborating with business and data science stakeholders to ensure that you stay focused on business objectives and to develop metrics that quantify the impact of your work.<br /><br />Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, psychology, computer science, or a related field.<br /><br />Communicative: you demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.<br /><br />You have a strong portfolio of shipped products that showcases your craftsmanship and demonstrates a strong understanding of user‑centered, insights‑driven design process.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
