Data Analyst 2 ECHO Program<br /><br />The University of Miami, School of Nursing and Health Studies, has a great opportunity for a Data Analyst 2 ECHO Program to work in Miami, Florida. Work location: on-site<br />The Data Analyst 2 (A) performs a variety of data analyses using various techniques. The Data Analyst 2 (A) assists in developing or implementing systems to capture business operation information. The Data Analyst 2 (A) analyzes data to ensure the accuracy of reported information and generated reports and identifies opportunities to enhance data collection and analysis. The incumbent works collaboratively with other internal areas and may guide less experienced data analysts.<br />Core Job Functions:<br />Performs data analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining.<br />Determines best practices and recommends actionable insights for the current business operations.<br />Performs ad-hoc analyses and reporting, to aid management in the decision-making process.<br />May build dashboards or reporting systems for end users about the assigned project(s).<br />Provides business data interpretation, such as identifying trends or patterns of data sets.<br />Assists in the dissemination and reporting of data, which may include presentations, workshops, and related activities.<br />Analyzes data to ensure accuracy and reports any issues to management.<br />Identifies opportunities to enhance data collection and analysis.<br />Assists in developing or implementing systems to capture business operation information.<br />Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.<br />Core Qualifications:<br />Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field<br />Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience<br />Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions. Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail. Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships. Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)<br />Department Specific Functions:<br />Serve the ECHO data management lead to accomplish data management goals for the clinical research study--NIH Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO).<br />Department Specific Qualifications:<br />Education: Bachelor's Degree<br />Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in office setting responsible for quality of data. Prefer experience with research or clinical data. Prefer experience with or interest in learning applications that capture, tabulate, facilitate data quality control.<br />Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Self-motivated to accomplish weekly work goals Keen eye for details, inconsistencies, and enjoy resolving data problems Proficient with MS Excel especially functions Interest in learning software applications to further develop skills needed on project Ability to prioritize urgent requests to complete same day as needed HTML REDCap development<br /><br />
