Financial Analyst

Note: This position is a contract on W2, and is NOT open to C2C.<br />Job Description<br /><br />In this on-site role, the Finance Analyst provides Financial/Accounting support for the SRG/MDS business, specifically Infection Prevention Manufacturing Plant in EL Paso, TX. This includes providing financial support and leadership to Finance and Operations leaders, playing a key role in establishing and achieving financial objectives and formulating and executing operations strategies. The position plays a critical role in managing manufacturing cost performance and driving continuous improvement and informed decision-making.<br />Duties &amp; Responsibilities<br /><br />Lead month-end activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.<br />Ensure accurate account reconciliations and financial integrity within SAP.<br />Perform detailed costing analysis, including standard cost, review, and maintenance.<br />Support recurring financial reports, summarizing in a timely manner, identifying key drivers, and working with cross-departmental teams to lead change through KPI management.<br />Support annual budget and rolling forecast process, integrating operational and cost assumptions. Monitor performance on a weekly &amp; monthly basis vs latest projection cycle and annual budget.<br />Support internal and external SOX Audits.<br />Drives continuous financial improvement through preparation/review of business cases, inventory analysis, new product and discontinuance analysis, and spending analysis.<br />Ensures that financial reports and records are prepared in compliance with US GAAP and financial policies.<br />Performs other related duties and assignments as required<br />Education &amp; Experience<br /><br />Requires 2+ years of relevant progressive accounting / finance experience in a manufacturing environment.<br />Manufacturing operations, product costing, manufacturing variances and inventory control, financial analysis, and budgeting &amp; forecasting experience preferred<br />Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.<br />Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities<br /><br />Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUPS, etc.)<br />ERP experience is necessary; specifically, SAP experience is preferred.<br />Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well with management of all levels and disciplines.<br />Knowledge of corporate accounting policies and procedures.<br />Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement.<br />Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed, challenging environment with strong attention to detail.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
