Level Of Experience:<br /><br />Mid-Level<br />Employment Type:<br /><br />Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)<br />Position:<br /><br />Financial Analyst<br />Location:<br /><br />San Antonio, TX<br />Duration:<br /><br />4 Months<br />Total Hours/Week:<br /><br />40.00<br />Shift:<br /><br />1st Shift<br />Client:<br /><br />Medical Device Company<br />Job Category:<br /><br />Accounting/Finance<br />Job Description<br /><br />This position will be responsible for supporting the Global Sustainability and Global Operations Finance Business Partners.<br />Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:<br /><br />Fosters clear fact-based two-way communication with functional business partners<br />Supports all planning and budgeting effort for the assigned Global Functions<br />Maintains financial planning models and develops/monitors forecasts<br />Supports performance management analysis and develops commentary<br />Prepares monthly journal entries for month end close process (including intercompany charge outs)<br />Prepares ad hoc analysis for Operations Finance Leadership and Business Partners on an as-needed basis<br />Required Qualifications<br /><br />Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field<br />Relevant finance or accounting experience with a focus on planning, budgeting, financial analysis, month end close, and reporting required<br />Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills<br />Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office (Excel - including v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)<br />BPC and SAP experience preferred<br />Technical Knowledge<br /><br />Strong quantitative and analytical skills for creating insightful and actionable reporting and analysis<br />Ability to go beyond the numbers, discern trends, determine the root cause of variances, and consider the broad business implications in helping identify opportunities and improve performance<br />Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures - GAAP/IFRS<br />Strong ability to communicate well with all levels of management; must be effective in converting data into useful information and communicating that information through concise commentary<br />Experience developing and implementing multi-segment business plans<br />Experience with month end close relating to journal entries and intercompany<br />Initiative/Adaptability<br /><br />Self-starter who can think and work independently and on teams<br />Highly responsive, with a strong sense of urgency paired with a definitive emphasis on quality control<br />Ability to adapt, learn quickly and work independently on multiple competing projects and deadlines<br />Communication / Collaboration<br /><br />Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills - Effective communicator with ability to be persuasive and influence senior management<br />Collaborative working style, ability to foster effective working relationships and build trust across a team environment<br />Comfortable communicating remotely (i.e. via telephone, video conference or web meeting)<br />Ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
