Business Analyst (Funds Accounting)

Role: Business Analyst (Funds Accounting)<br /><br />Work Location: Quincy, MA (Hybrid)<br /><br />Job Description:<br />• Experience with financial data (knowledge of a trade lifecycle, exposure to different types of data such as positions, transactions, and income across asset classes including derivatives)<br />• Financial background - preferably in custody or back office data<br />• Experience with SQL, EXcel for Back office data analysis<br />• Experience with in depth data analysis with the ability to review many different data sets to determine common components and define normalization strategy<br />• Apply functional business knowledge when deriving platform requirements<br />• Ability to gain understanding of data and transform into data marts that are useful to the client/consumer<br />• Ability to perform gap analysis between source of data and existing data model to determine model additions Public<br />• Previous experience implementing software or data services<br />• Effective communicator - can summarize succinctly and can provide details when needed.<br />• Team oriented - capable of working in a global setting.<br />• Detail oriented and strong sense of responsibility.<br />• Flexible and can adapt easily to changing/evolving role requirements<br />• Self-motivated &amp; self-sufficient<br />• Previous State Street Back Office experience a big plus - MCH / FDR / OTC
