This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). This business unit is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to support the utility bill management operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering a high level of service. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate account management and a seamless customer experience.<br /><br />Location: 3527 N Buffalo St. Orchard Park, NY 14127 OR 5672 Main St. Williamsville, NY 14221<br /><br />1-year contract assignment (W-2)<br /><br />Key Responsibilities<br /><br />Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, utility providers, vendors, and third-party suppliers through both written and verbal communication<br /><br />Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up and complete resolution<br /><br />Manage day-to-day activities related to utility billing, including account setup, maintenance, and closure<br /><br />Provide support on billing inquiries, disconnection notices, and utility/vendor contract matters<br /><br />Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within CRM and billing systems<br /><br />Monitor account activity and identify discrepancies or issues requiring attention<br /><br />Analyze recurring customer concerns and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery<br /><br />Assist with special projects and contribute to ongoing operational and process improvement initiatives<br /><br />Qualifications<br /><br />Associate degree or equivalent experience (minimum of 4 years in a customer-facing role)<br /><br />Experience in energy or utilities is preferred but not required<br /><br />Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word<br /><br />Strong attention to detail and organizational skills<br /><br />Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment<br /><br />Excellent written and verbal communication skills<br /><br />Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team<br /><br />We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
