Sr Financial Analyst - Operations Analysis - Orlando Based

Overview<br />Senior Financial Analyst – Operations Analysis is responsible for driving improved profitability at the restaurant level by developing proactive solutions, analyzing business impact, and aligning action plans in partnership with the Operations Excellence team.<br /><br />Position requirements: This is an on‑site position Monday – Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays and is based at Red Lobster's corporate office in Orlando, FL.<br /><br />Roles and Responsibilities<br /><br />Partner with Operations Leadership, Finance Leadership, and Restaurant Management teams to forecast and evaluate performance to ensure achievement of financial commitments.<br /><br />Lead cross‑functional development, implementation and monitoring of plans that improve restaurant earnings with strong focus on waste management and labor productivity.<br /><br />Identify, analyze and communicate emerging trends so business actions are prioritized appropriately.<br /><br />Support restaurants that are below earnings targets through outlier identification and analysis.<br /><br />Proactively identify discrepancies in data, determine root cause and communicate solutions.<br /><br />Prepare and communicate various analyses and reports needed by business leaders to communicate business performance.<br /><br />Required Technical Skills<br /><br />3+ years' experience in an analytical role exemplifying initiative and accuracy.<br /><br />Proven strong financial and analytical skills.<br /><br />Proven spreadsheet and data retrieval skills (MicroStrategy experience preferred).<br /><br />Demonstrates the capability to build financial models and apply forecasting techniques with an emphasis on statistical analysis of economic and financial data.<br /><br />Strong project management skills.<br /><br />Required Education<br /><br />Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.<br /><br />MBA preferred.<br /><br />Other Key Qualifications<br /><br />Knowledge of restaurant operations.<br /><br />Strong verbal, written and facilitation skills.<br /><br />Proven experience analyzing, prioritizing, and problem solving.<br /><br />Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.<br /><br />Ability to interact professionally with internal and external business partners.<br /><br />Self‑starter willing to promote change when necessary.<br /><br />Professional curiosity and initiative to identify and present improvement opportunities.<br /><br />Ability to prioritize effectively to move multiple concurrent projects to completion.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
