The California High-Speed Rail Authority is a small and dynamic state agency that is looking for employees who are interested in a challenging and rewarding job opportunity.<br /><br />About the Role<br />Under the direction of the California High-Speed Rail Authority’s (Authority) Supervising Transportation Engineer (Contract Management Support Lead), the Analyst II (Contract Management Support Analyst) is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of contract administration activities for Authority projects. This includes tracking contract deliverables, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations, assisting with procurement and contract amendments, and maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements. The incumbent serves as a key liaison between project teams, contract managers, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant execution of contracts in support of the Authority’s mission.<br /><br />Part‑time telework is available for this position for California residents based on the requirements of the position and may be discussed during the interview process. Hiring interviews may be available virtually, using teleconferencing or video conferencing options.<br /><br />You will find additional information about the job in the<br /><br />Duty Statement .<br /><br />Proficient in the use of computers and computer software applications, including Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).<br /><br />Ability to quickly grasp new ideas and incorporate them into existing procedures and policies.<br /><br />Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proven ability to follow up and follow through on all projects.<br /><br />Knowledge of federal statutes, regulations, and administrative interpretations relative to contract labor compliance and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).<br /><br />Ability to analyze and interpret specifications, directives, and other requirements of contract administration.<br /><br />Possess excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines to ensure timely project delivery.<br /><br />Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.<br /><br />Experience with writing reports and memos, providing training and presentations.<br /><br />Demonstrated ability to act independently with open‑mindedness, flexibility, and tact.<br /><br />Experience analyzing information and making decisions.<br /><br />Experience interpreting written policy, laws, regulations, and/or contracts.<br /><br />Experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders.<br /><br />Experience in conducting quality assurance reviews, compliance reviews, or investigations.<br /><br />Location<br />The High-Speed Rail Authority Fresno building is located in downtown Fresno at 1111 H Street.
