Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

At Regions, the Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is responsible for all areas of financial and management reporting, planning and analysis.<br />Primary Responsibilities<br /><br />Develops, updates, and maintains models to budget, forecast, analyze, and report financial data<br />Develops and performs monthly detailed financial analysis including financial modeling and monitoring business results and impact to bottom line<br />Defines drivers of budget variances and ensures understanding of key drivers with responsible parties<br />Consolidates and reports monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans, including related summary commentary and analysis<br />Assists with the provision of timely, accurate, and reliable financial management information and the running and enhancement of reporting systems which facilitate the production of this management information<br />Completes regular and ad-hoc reporting and business reviews as well as the preparation of key presentations and special projects as required<br />Presents financial analysis to influence management decisions<br />This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.<br />Requirements<br /><br />Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field<br />Three (3) years of experience with management reporting or financial analyses<br />Preferences<br /><br />Experience with Essbase Financial Reporting tool or similar<br />Skills and Competencies<br /><br />Financial analysis and research<br />Proficient in Microsoft Office Products Suite, particularly Excel<br />Report development<br />A background in property investments or experience with profitability analysis preferred.<br />This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.<br />This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.<br />Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position at this time. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.<br />Compensation Details<br /><br />Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
