How will this role impact First Command?<br />The Developer II is a fully proficient engineer who owns tasks end‑to‑end, writes clean and testable code, and contributes to code quality and operational readiness. They are self‑motivated individuals that look for opportunities and are excited to grow their business and technical knowledge which in‑turn allows their Agile team to deliver business value. They work closely with consultants and architect roles to implement the designed business solution.<br /><br />What will the employee do in this role?<br /><br />Breaks down design into executable pieces of work<br /><br />Upholds coding standards and best practices and contributes to peer reviews<br /><br />Independently diagnose and fix production issues<br /><br />Enable operations through documentation, knowledge transfer, and technology<br /><br />Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle<br /><br />Preparation and Execution of tests and test plans (unit, integration and functional)<br /><br />Participates in scrum ceremonies, team, and dev discussions<br /><br />Communicate and work alongside members of their team in support of their day‑to‑day work items<br /><br />Responsible for learning business and technical knowledge from their peers<br /><br />Seek guidance on designs and elevate blockers appropriately<br /><br />What skills and qualifications will you need?<br />Education<br />No specified education requirements.<br /><br />Work Experience<br /><br />3 to 6 years’ experience<br /><br />Certifications<br />No specified certifications.<br /><br />Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<br /><br />SQL Query tuning and performance troubleshooting<br /><br />Familiar with OpenAPI spec, prototyping APIs, and mocking APIs<br /><br />Proficient in deployment toolchains in a cloud context (Azure DevOps, YAML, Terraform, Azure)<br /><br />Proficient in relevant coding Design Pattern and their implementations<br /><br />Strong debugger and troubleshooter using App Insights<br /><br />Proficient in async programming concepts<br /><br />Knowledge of one OOP language (C# preferred) or UI framework (Angular or React preferred)<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
