Graphic Designer

Applicants must provide a portfolio of current work that demonstrates their design skill set and a resume to be considered for this position.<br /><br />TOTAL Advertising, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.<br /><br />Experience<br />The ideal candidate for this position is a professional and energetic team player who is able to multi-task effectively, offer quick and accurate responses, articulate issues and concerns professionally, and provide creative input to help advance client’s brands.<br /><br />Duties<br />Full-Time | In-Office, 5 Days a week<br /><br />Accurately complete design requests for marketing materials such as digital ads, emails, social media posts, flyers, etc. for a wide range of industries<br /><br />Create and design layouts for print materials<br /><br />Follow creative direction and demonstrate innovation and creativity when developing concepts, design and illustrations for marketing materials<br /><br />Resize and adapt current designs or campaigns to alternate layouts<br /><br />Update creative and text content on client WordPress sites<br /><br />Revise, edit and proofread text copy at a high level (for creative content) as needed<br /><br />Prioritize job assignments and projects based on internal and client need<br /><br />Keep track of and report time spent for each assignment<br /><br />Perform other duties as assigned<br /><br />Skills / Qualifications<br />Qualifications<br /><br />Minimum Experience: One (1) internship in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or similar position in-house or at an ad agency<br /><br />Strong organization skills and attention to detail<br /><br />Excellent written and verbal communications skills<br /><br />Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team<br /><br />File management, naming, and organization skills<br /><br />Proven understanding of typography usage, layout design, and print production<br /><br />Experience designing for social media, print, and digital<br /><br />Basic copy editing and knowledge<br /><br />Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing<br /><br />Design Skills<br /><br />Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with previous experience working in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop<br /><br />Proficient in Canva<br /><br />Experience working in WordPress: updating text, photos, and links<br /><br />Basic HTML understanding is a plus<br /><br />Figma experience is a plus<br /><br />Other<br />Please provide pay requirements and anticipated start date!<br /><br />Please reach out to the Creative Team with position specific questions.<br /><br />All TOTAL Employees will receive free, covered parking in the Barclay Damon Building.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
