Job Highlights<br /><br />Validate customer purchase orders for accuracy (Supplier information, Payment Terms, Inco Terms, pricing prior to entry). Coordinate corrections as appropriate.<br />Entry of Sales Orders, and changes as required; Work with appropriate departments to resolve any system issues (Logistics, Regulatory, Export, etc). Send customer order confirmations/updates.<br />Process Invoices and correct system issues/errors as required.<br />Monitor open orders for blocks, Cash in advance payments, late orders, and other issues that would prevent an order from shipping as scheduled. Research and update as required.<br />Coordinate the creation and maintenance of customer master data. Follow up with Sales Team and Customers to obtain required documentation for setup.<br />Coordinate tax certificates with tax department for proper order processing.<br />Research/support with account receivable discrepancies.<br />Process returns, credits, and debits as required.<br />Support with Customer Service projects as assigned.<br />Experience / Skills<br /><br />Associate's Degree or higher preferred; A High School Diploma with min 2 years work experience in a manufacturing environment using SAP would be considered.<br />The position requires strong organizational, communication and time management skills.<br />Excellent problem solving, persuasion, negotiation and conflict resolution skills are critical.<br />Proficient working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP) in a manufacturing environment required.<br />Experience with transportation/logistics and exports preferred.<br />International logistics operations experience and knowledge of export compliance regulations are a plus.<br />Functional knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is desirable.<br />Location Birmingham<br />Employee Type Regular<br />What we offer you<br />Compensation<br /><br />We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program. The established pay range for this position is $59,600 to $87,400.
