As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.<br />Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer 3-related occupation.<br />Position requires:<br />C/C++ and Go programming;<br />P4 programmable hardware language;<br />Python and Bash scripting languages;<br />Developing multi-threaded embedded Linux application/infrastructure;<br />Network protocols: TCP/IP, DNC, DHCP, HTTPS, and NFS;<br />DPDK-based network application development with binding PCIe devices;<br />Storage stack;<br />Firmware development in embedded systems;<br />Hardware board bring-up;<br />Core dump debugging with GDB;<br />Linux kernel and driver programming;<br />Virtualization technologies: Hypervisor (SR-IOV, Bare Metal – ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V, Proxmox, and OpenShift) and containers (LXC and Docker);<br />Network Layer-2 security protocol (MACsec);<br />Profiling of code, performance analysis and improving performance;<br />Layer1 (PAM4 and NRZ), Layer 2-3, High speed ethernet 800G, 1.6T - 224 Gb/s Lane SerDes, IEEE P802.3df, and IEEE P802.3dj;<br />PHY &amp; HW (FPGA, I2C, SPI, and UART) interactions, AN/LT - Auto Negotiation/Link Training, and Local/Remote Fault signaling;<br />Board Management Controller (BMC) and IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface);<br />Security compliance management: vulnerability scanning, fixing, and applying remediation and working with third-party vendor code to resolve known issues<br />Qualifications<br /><br />Disclaimer: Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.<br />Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range in USD from $163,550 to $178,999 per annum.
