Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, this professional will be responsible for examining financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making and financial planning, with a focus on transactions related to the full order-to-cash cycle, the accounts receivable and collection processes, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS 15Accounts Receivable and Revenue. They will possess excellent attention to detail, proven problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and presentation skills.<br /><br />Responsibilities &amp; Duties<br /><br />Build relationships with and provide excellent customer service to the business unit(s)<br /><br />Completing the month-end and quarter-end close processes, by examining results, preparing journal entries and detailed balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting for senior management<br /><br />Tracking &amp; examining deferred maintenance, hardware, software, and revenue streams<br /><br />Preparing information requests and responding to questions during quarterly reviews and the annual audit<br /><br />Special projects &amp; ad hoc reporting as required<br /><br />Requirements<br /><br />Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<br /><br />Experience in financial analysis roles, accounting roles, or relevant experience<br /><br />Completion of or working toward a professional accounting designation (CPA)<br /><br />Excellent proficiency in financial modeling<br /><br />Proven attention to detail and accuracy<br /><br />Excellent communication and presentation skills<br /><br />Salary range :<br />$50,000 to $55,000<br /><br />Only successful candidates will be contacted*<br /><br />Harris is committed to an equal opportunity employment program, and applications from members of targeted groups, including women, persons with disabilities, Indigenous peoples, and visible minorities, are encouraged.
