Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.<br />Base pay range<br /><br />$120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr<br />Additional compensation types<br /><br />Annual Bonus<br />Direct message the job poster from Buckingham Search<br />This role will be responsible for coordinating reporting and analysis process improvements, leading the standardization of financial operating processes and procedures, and supporting the transition from IFRS to US GAAP/SOX reporting standards.<br />Responsibilities:<br />US GAAP/SOX Compliance:<br /><br />Support the finance team in transitioning from IFRS to US GAAP/SOX compliance. Develop tools and processes to ensure regulatory compliance, liaising with corporate and regional functions.<br />Process Improvement:<br /><br />Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance financial reporting and analysis processes.<br />Standardization:<br /><br />Work with support functions to standardize financial operating processes across the company.<br />Financial Audit and Accounting:<br /><br />Assist internal and external audit teams, providing documentation and support during audits in accordance with SOX controls and US GAAP.<br />Financial Compliance:<br /><br />Conduct flux analysis, complete monthly account reconciliations, and address unreconciled balances.<br />Internal Control Processes:<br /><br />Support process design, documentation, and implementation.<br />Month-End Activities:<br /><br />Perform activities supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.<br />System Development:<br /><br />Participate in developing and implementing financial reporting systems like SAP ECC, SAC, and Tagetik, ensuring they meet organizational needs and standards.<br />Adhoc Requirements:<br /><br />Engage in special projects and prepare technical accounting memos on new or unusual transactions.<br />Safety:<br /><br />Promote safety and environmental policies in all work environments.<br />Qualifications:<br />Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business<br />CMA or CPA preferred<br />Experience:<br />5+ years of professional experience<br />Experience with Big 4 or large manufacturing audit firms<br />Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office<br />Strong US GAAP knowledge and reporting experience<br />Knowledge of manufacturing and/or construction industry accounting preferred<br />SAC/SAP ECC experience<br />Travel Requirements: less than 5%<br />Seniority level<br /><br />Mid-Senior level<br />Employment type<br /><br />Full-time<br />Job function<br /><br />Accounting/Auditing<br />Industries<br /><br />Manufacturing<br />Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Buckingham Search by 2x.<br />Inferred benefits from the job description<br /><br />Medical insurance<br />Vision insurance<br />401(k)<br />Get notified about new Financial Reporting Analyst jobs in<br /><br />Dundee, MI .<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
