Description
AACI is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful insights and wants to use their expertise to support a mission-driven organization serving the community.<br />As our Financial Analyst, you’ll partner with programs and leadership to manage budgets, analyze financial performance, prepare forecasts, support contract and grant-related financial activities, and help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.<br />What You’ll Do<br /><br />Prepare and analyze financial reports, dashboards, forecasts, and cost analyses.<br />Perform monthly actual-to-budget variance analysis and identify key financial trends.<br />Partner with program teams on budgets, financial reporting, revenue invoicing, and funder-related fiscal inquiries.<br />Prepare reports involving general ledger activity, income statements, balance sheets, and trial balances.<br />Prepare and submit monthly revenue invoices with required supporting documentation.<br />Monitor accounts receivable aging and collection activity.<br />Develop and present quarterly financial forecasts to management.<br />Create annual budgets and budgets for new funding proposals and contracts.<br />Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.<br />Identify and correct financial data discrepancies.<br />Assist with annual audits and preparation of supporting financial documentation.<br />Support additional financial projects and initiatives as needed.<br />What We’re Looking For<br /><br />Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.<br />4+ years of accounting or finance experience.<br />Nonprofit, healthcare, government-funded, or grant-funded organization experience strongly preferred.<br />Experience with contract billing, invoicing, and collections.<br />Strong understanding of GAAP and general financial accounting principles.<br />Knowledge of governmental/fund accounting.<br />Familiarity with cost accounting requirements under 2 CFR Part 200 and 45 CFR Part 75.<br />Intermediate or higher Microsoft Excel skills.<br />Experience with accounting software; Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT experience is a plus.<br />Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.<br />Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.<br />Why AACI?<br /><br />At AACI, your financial expertise helps support programs that make a direct impact in our community.
