We want to understand you—not an AI tool.<br /><br />Role Overview<br />Band 6 Specialist Rotational Radiographer – Cardiovascular Labs and Main Department Rotation, including CT at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.<br /><br />Responsibilities<br /><br />Rotate in 12‑week blocks between Cardiovascular Labs and the main Band 6 rotational radiographer rota.<br /><br />During the main departmental rotation, work across a range of areas, including A&amp;E, theatres, mobile radiography, inpatient and outpatient X‑ray imaging, fluoroscopy, orthopaedics, East Sector Community Hospitals and CT.<br /><br />Develop and maintain general radiographic skills while gaining specialist modality experience.<br /><br />In the Cardiovascular Labs, support a varied and complex range of diagnostic and interventional procedures: cardiac cath labs, interventional radiology, electrophysiology, mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory not required – omitted for clarity.<br /><br />Collaborate closely with radiologists, cardiologists, nurses, cardiac physiologists and other team members. Cardiovascular Labs provide a 24‑hour emergency service via an on‑call rota.<br /><br />Contribute to a busy acute and general radiography service at the Royal Infirmary and associated sites, mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory not required – omitted for clarity.<br /><br />Demonstrate leadership, supervise, teach and support students, newly appointed radiographers, assistant practitioners and clinical assistants.<br /><br />Receive training and support to develop practical and theoretical knowledge across rotational areas.<br /><br />Must have mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory not required – omitted for clarity.<br /><br />Previous experience in CT, cardiac cath labs or interventional radiology would be advantageous, although not mandatory.<br /><br />Equipment<br />Mandated mandatory mandatory mandatory not required.
