Job Overview<br /><br />Radiance is seeking a highly qualified and motivated radar engineer or computer scientist to serve as a Radar System Modeling and Simulation Analyst for foreign air and missile defense weapon systems. The candidate will work with system engineers and other modelers to review, update, test, and document changes to radar models based on finished all-source intelligence products, ensuring the models meet technical and performance specifications and perform as required.<br />Responsibilities<br /><br />Review, update, test, and document changes to radar models based on intelligence products.<br />Collaborate with system engineers and other modelers to ensure models meet technical and performance specifications.<br />Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br />Prepare written technical reports for management to support the Intelligence Community.<br />Provide work leadership and training to lower-level professional and technical staff.<br />Supervise junior staff and schedule work to meet completion dates.<br />Required Skills<br /><br />Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a relevant technical field.<br />US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance and CI poly.<br />Expertise in radar operations and a solid understanding of radar theory.<br />Ability to perform exploratory analysis and research, and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences.<br />Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate successfully with internal and external stakeholders.<br />Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to describe complex technical scenarios succinctly.<br />Strong analytic, inference, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.<br />Required Experience<br /><br />At least three years’ experience with radar systems.<br />Prior experience characterizing radar systems based on incomplete information.<br />Experience with, or extensive knowledge of, modeling radars.<br />Desired Qualifications<br /><br />Previous ITEAMS experience.<br />Experience supporting US Government S&TI Centers.<br />Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
