Role overview<br />Seeking an engineer with an M.S. or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, experienced in inertial sensors, navigation, estimation, and system-accuracy analysis using linear covariance methods and Monte-Carlo simulations<br /><br />Responsibilities<br />Flight data post-processing including GPS and IMU analysis<br />Inertial-instrument error modeling and analysis<br />System-accuracy evaluation including error-budget sensitivity generation<br />Navigation-software development and implementation<br />Skills<br /><br />Navigation-system accuracy analysis using covariance and Monte-Carlo studies<br />Requiring active clearance at the DoD Secret level or higher<br />Linux_Unix proficiency<br />C_C++ experience<br />Advanced MATLAB_Simulink capability including Bus objects, S-functions, and embedded MATLAB<br />Estimation_and_navigation expertise including Kalman filtering<br />Inertial-error modeling expertise<br />GN&C algorithm knowledge and simulation-modeling techniques<br />Tightly coupled GPS_GNSS filter design experience<br /><br />
