Position Summary<br />As an FP&A Analyst, you will be part of a high performing team driving analyses that help the leadership team execute on strategic initiatives. You will serve as an analytical powerhouse and strategic partner to business leaders throughout the organization. In addition to financial planning and reporting (internal & external), you will gain exposure to private equity, M&A execution, and data analytics.<br /><br />Company<br />Vistage is the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize business (SMB) leaders. Vistage’s platform provides peer perspectives, professional guidance, and resources such as strategic planning, company valuation, and M&A planning.<br /><br />Responsibilities (75% FP&A / 25% Strategic)<br /><br />Use analytical skills to gather, model, package and present data to help the business make data‑informed decisions.<br /><br />Perform ad‑hoc analyses and communicate insights to functional business leaders for action.<br /><br />Prepare monthly financial and operating metrics reports for the executive team, private equity investors and board members.<br /><br />Identify, investigate, and communicate risks and opportunities impacting the business.<br /><br />Own the financial management over a number of Vistage’s revenue and/or cost categories.<br /><br />Help improve forecasting accuracy and run variance analysis for actuals versus budget & forecast.<br /><br />Utilize the company’s planning software and 25+ data sources to query and analyze data.<br /><br />Be a key partner and counsel to executives on all FP&A matters relating to their function.<br /><br />Leverage technology to provide data analytics services, delivering timely, accurate, actionable data to support insights and strategic decisions.<br /><br />Quickly spot errors and discrepancies, both in fine detail and at the big‑picture level.<br /><br />Dive deep into numbers and use quantitative analysis to draw conclusions.<br /><br />Be comfortable in ambiguity, keep calm while managing multiple projects simultaneously, and stay on top of the to‑do list.<br /><br />Qualifications<br /><br />1‑3 years of investment banking, strategy consulting, corporate FP&A, or related experience.<br /><br />Bachelor’s degree in finance or a quantitative field (Math, Physics, Computer Science, Stats).<br /><br />Deep expertise in building financial models, integrated financial statements, and valuation.<br /><br />Excellent strategic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.<br /><br />High degree of organization, initiative, personal accountability, and a commitment to driving results in a fast‑paced environment while managing competing priorities.<br /><br />Well‑rounded interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across stakeholders at varying levels.<br /><br />Ability to effectively communicate, telling stories with data, instilling confidence, educating, and motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations.<br /><br />Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.<br /><br />Intellectual curiosity about how AI is reshaping finance – follow developments, form opinions, and bring new tools to the team proactively.<br /><br />Demonstrated hands‑on experience with AI tools applied to real financial workflows – evidence of productivity gains or process improvements is a plus.<br /><br />Experience in BI tools in a data‑rich environment (BI360, Tableau, SQL, Power BI) is a plus.<br /><br />Total Compensation Range<br />$85,000 – $95,000 Salary + Corporate Bonus (salary based in San Diego, CA)<br /><br />Job Location<br />Hybrid in San Diego; 3 days onsite, 2 days offsite<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
