Job Description<br /><br />upport the development, integration, and optimization of a program and its associated dependencies within Common Operations Release Environment (CORE). The role requires expertise in<br /><br />Python, JavaScript, PyQt, Asyncio, QThreads, and API development<br /><br />to enhance mission-critical workflows, improve operational performance, and integrate new GEOINT capabilities.<br /><br />Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<br /><br />Operational Baseline Maintenance &amp; Enhancement<br /><br />Maintain, optimize, and improve the operational baseline of the programs<br /><br />and its dependencies .<br />Develop and integrate<br /><br />technical solutions<br /><br />to meet mission requirements in<br /><br />Common Operations Release Environment (CORE).<br />Identify performance bottlenecks in<br /><br />existing workflows , document requirements, and propose enhancements to<br /><br />increase efficiency and operational support.<br />Full Stack Development &amp; Code Optimization<br /><br />Perform<br /><br />advanced review and optimization<br /><br />of operational code in<br /><br />Python, JavaScript, and HTML.<br />Enhance<br /><br />front-end and back-end<br /><br />components using<br /><br />PyQt<br /><br />for GUI applications and<br /><br />Asyncio/QThreads<br /><br />for improved concurrency and performance.<br />Develop<br /><br />RESTful APIs<br /><br />to support secure and scalable system interactions.<br />Integrate and manage a<br /><br />complex framework of dependencies and operational services<br /><br />within an AGILE development environment.<br />User Engagement &amp; Requirements Gathering<br /><br />Conduct<br /><br />mission-focused requirements determination<br /><br />to identify opportunities for operational improvements.<br />Engage with<br /><br />mission users, analysts, and scientists<br /><br />to translate requirements into<br /><br />functional capabilities<br /><br />that enhance user experience.<br />Provide<br /><br />technical training and user support<br /><br />for newly integrated features.<br />Evaluate<br /><br />external GEOINT tools<br /><br />and capabilities from a mission-user perspective to recommend system enhancements.<br />Cross-Team Collaboration &amp; Technical Leadership<br /><br />Host and coordinate<br /><br />Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs)<br /><br />with users and data providers.<br />Work alongside analysts, scientists, and development teams to ensure<br /><br />seamless integration of new capabilities.<br />Lead or support<br /><br />project management<br /><br />initiatives related to<br /><br />software development, deployment, and maintenance.<br />Implement AGILE and<br /><br />DevSecOps best practices<br /><br />to streamline<br /><br />development workflows and secure deployments.<br />Required Skills<br /><br />3+ years<br /><br />of experience in<br /><br />full-stack development<br /><br />using<br /><br />Python, JavaScript, and HTML .<br />Expertise in<br /><br />PyQt<br /><br />for building<br /><br />advanced GUI applications .<br />Strong knowledge of<br /><br />Asyncio and QThreads<br /><br />for optimizing<br /><br />multithreading and concurrent programming.<br />Experience developing and integrating<br /><br />RESTful APIs<br /><br />and working with JSON-based data exchange.<br />Familiarity with<br /><br />Common Operations Release Environment (CORE) or similar mission-focused development environments .<br />Strong understanding of<br /><br />AGILE development methodologies and DevSecOps best practices .<br />Ability to<br /><br />review, optimize, and integrate complex software frameworks .<br />Hands-on experience with<br /><br />Linux-based development and deployment environments .<br />Ability to<br /><br />document requirements and translate mission needs into technical solutions .<br />Excellent communication skills with the ability to<br /><br />engage with analysts, scientists, and technical teams .<br />Desired Skills<br /><br />Experience with<br /><br />cloud-based infrastructure and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar) .<br />Understanding of<br /><br />geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) workflows and tools .<br />Knowledge of<br /><br />database integration, SQL, and data processing for GEOINT applications .<br />Experience leading<br /><br />Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs)<br /><br />with stakeholders and users.<br />Strong<br /><br />problem-solving skills<br /><br />with the ability to<br /><br />troubleshoot and optimize large-scale software systems .<br /><br />
