Artech provides technical expertise to fill gaps in clients' immediate skill-sets availability, deliver emerging technology skill-sets, refresh existing skill base, allow for flexibility in project planning and execution phases, and provide budgeting/financial flexibility by offering contingent labor as a variable cost.<br /><br />Job Description<br />Title:<br /><br />Finance Analyst - L3<br />Location:<br /><br />Buffalo, NY<br />Duration:<br /><br />Minimum 12 Months<br />Client:<br /><br />Largest Pharmaceutical company in the USA.<br /><br />Decision support and simplification<br /><br />Provide expert advice to customer groups by proactively identifying opportunities and raising challenges to meet business objectives and mitigate risks.<br /><br />Create nonstandard financial analysis and present trends.<br /><br />Provide financial analysis as requested.<br /><br />Work with Shared Management Accounting Services to ensure successful month end processes and reporting.<br /><br />Support Sr. Finance Partner in development and implementation of standard costing model for annual standard cost setting of products to commercial, and generation of standard costs for NPI products.<br /><br />Provide analytical support on an as needed basis to strategic activities such as business development (Value Engineering improvements), business evaluation proposals etc.<br /><br />Execute post-acquisition integration activities (e.g., GPS savings tracking, capital cost- savings project tracking).<br /><br />Financial management and governance<br /><br />Manage financial management activities for Oak Hill site in support of delivering business strategies and maintaining strong financial governance.<br /><br />Accountable for risk identification and management for strong financial governance.<br /><br />Review management accounts (actual, forecasts, budgets) to assist senior embedded business finance support in signing off on income statement and balance sheet.<br /><br />Develop close working relationships with functional departments to ensure good financial understanding, control and identification of cost saving opportunities.<br /><br />Assist in the management of corporate approvals (e.g., compliance with corporate development and ABAC requirements).<br /><br />Qualifications<br />Influence and relationship building<br /><br />Assist in the management of financial activities / issues for external business partnerships (e.g., third-party supplier, outsourcing partner, etc.).<br /><br />Educate customer groups on financial aspects of business decisions and resource allocations.<br /><br />Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, MBA, Financial Accounting or Business degree)<br /><br />Business / Accounting<br /><br />Qualification<br /><br />Experience working in business / functional unit.<br /><br />Experience working in commercial P&amp;L environment.<br /><br />Demonstrated business skills executed with integrity and independent judgment.<br /><br />Ability to effectively use negotiation and conflict resolution skills.<br /><br />Experience working with client groups with ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at various levels.<br /><br />Understanding of underlying business drivers.<br /><br />Proficient financial knowledge of modeling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting.<br /><br />Experience working in cross-functional teams and across a matrixed environment.<br /><br />Good interpersonal skills demonstrated by creation of a network of key partners within Finance and the business and the ability to bridge communications gap between finance and non-finance.<br /><br />Understanding of systems and processes as they affect the financial results (JDE, Prism, DCS, etc.).<br /><br />Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.<br /><br />Additional Information<br />Contact: 973-507-7521 for any questions related to this job.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
