Graphic Designer

Spectrum Marketing Companies again has immediate openings for graphic designers to join our award-winning in‑house creative team! The ideal candidate will be able to perform the below functions with the utmost accuracy and attention to detail. If you are the type of person who thrives in a fast‑paced work environment and likes to be busy, then we want to speak with you!<br /><br />Job Functions - Here is what you will be doing:<br /><br />Design a wide variety of projects and prepare files for both in‑house and outside vendor production<br /><br />Products will include direct mail, collateral materials, signage/POP and digital formats<br /><br />Design within strict brand guidelines for national accounts<br /><br />Required Skills – Our Successful Candidate Will Have:<br /><br />Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design; commercial printing experience highly preferred<br /><br />Bachelor’s degree in graphic design is preferred but equivalent experience considered<br /><br />Strong working knowledge of MAC Platform CC InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Acrobat and MS Office; additional applications are a plus<br /><br />Familiarity with preparing files for offset and digital printing<br /><br />Exceptional grammar and spelling skills<br /><br />Scrupulous attention to detail a must<br /><br />Ability to work under pressure without compromising accuracy in a deadline‑driven environment<br /><br />Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented; ability to multi‑task<br /><br />Ability to accurately proofread is highly desired<br /><br />Demonstrated ability to design for direct marketing, publications and promotional advertising preferred<br /><br />Ability to design for large format printing of all types<br /><br />Must enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment<br /><br />Capable of working as part of a team and independently<br /><br />Positive, energetic, productive team player with the ability to take direction<br /><br />Physical Requirements:<br /><br />Prolonged periods of sitting at desk<br /><br />Significant periods of screen time<br /><br />Fine motor skills for keyboarding, manipulating artwork and copy<br /><br />Ability to distinguish colors and shades<br /><br />Oral communication in English (other language may be a plus)<br /><br />Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds<br /><br />Please provide online portfolio or samples of your work.<br /><br />This is an in‑house position – no remote work.<br /><br />This is a full‑time in‑house position with anticipated periods of overtime.<br /><br />No responsive telephone calls please.<br /><br />The Spectrum Marketing Companies are Equal Employment Opportunity employers.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
