Financial Project Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Financial Project Analyst who will partner directly with engineers, project managers, and field supervisors to support the financial planning, cost control, and execution of capital construction projects for a utilities company in El Paso, Texas. This is a project‑focused finance role, not traditional accounting. The analyst serves as a financial right hand to engineering teams, translating project activity into accurate budgets, forecasts, and actionable insights. The annual salary for this role is 61,000-122,500 based on the candidate's years of experience.<br /><br />DAY TO DAY<br /><br />Develop, track, and reforecast capital and O&amp;M project budgets<br /><br />Build and maintain project cash flow forecasts aligned to schedules and milestones<br /><br />Analyze and explain budget‑to‑actual variances<br /><br />Support work orders, funding approvals, and project close‑out documentation<br /><br />Assist with business cases and project alternative analysis<br /><br />Partner daily with engineering and field teams to support cost control and reporting<br /><br />Support documentation for regulatory filings and data requests<br /><br />Improve financial templates and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy<br /><br />We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
