Telecom BIM Designer<br /><br />USD 30.00 /hr - USD 41.00 /hr<br />Qualifications<br /><br />High school graduate or equivalent<br />At least 3 years of Revit BIM design experience<br />Familiarity with NavisWorks<br />At least 3 years of relevant experience in telecommunications systems design and construction industry<br />A growing understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions<br />A growing understanding of design and construction specifications and their function<br />Basic understanding of wiring/cabling connections in relation to a circuit or a link between devices and equipment<br />Experience following client design and modeling standards<br />Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software<br />Strong communication skills<br />Ability to estimate hours required for design and modeling efforts based on provided markups and/or verbal direction requests<br />Willingness to learn new things<br />Ideally, you’ll also have:<br /><br />At least 4 years of Revit MEP design experience<br />Knowledge and design experience of semiconductor and/or advanced facility environments<br />Knowledge and design experience with paging, intercom, and audio-visual systems<br />Knowledge and design experience with life safety and security systems, fire alarm, access control, closed‑circuit television (CCTV)<br />Knowledge of control systems and network components and topology<br /><br />Responsibilities<br /><br />We’re looking for a Telecommunications BIM Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Our BIM designers are engaged in the design documentation while being responsible for setup and management of Revit BIM models in coordination with other discipline BIM leads and team members.
