Financial Analyst

Davies Group accounting sector is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated<br /><br />Financial Analyst<br /><br />to join our Accounting Consulting Team. This role is responsible for supporting the managing general agency with timely and accurate general ledger accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory accounting principles.<br />Key Responsibilities<br /><br />Perform general ledger accounting duties with accuracy and timeliness.<br />Assist in financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.<br />Support accounting projects and take ownership of assigned tasks.<br />Partner with team members to identify process improvements and ensure compliance with GAAP.<br />Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.<br />Provide analytical insights and support decision-making across the accounting function.<br />Qualifications<br /><br />Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).<br />2 or more years of accounting or financial analysis experience.<br />Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory accounting principles.<br />Proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and reporting).<br />Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.<br />Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.<br />Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br />Positive attitude and strong work ethic.<br />Seniority level<br /><br />Entry level<br />Employment type<br /><br />Full-time<br />Job function<br /><br />Accounting/Auditing<br />Industries<br /><br />Insurance<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
