Job Responsibilities
For Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male):
- Conducting house-to-house visits for health surveillance
- Assisting in disease surveillance and control
- Implementing national health programs
- Maintaining health records and registers
- Providing basic healthcare services
- Conducting health education and awareness activities
- Assisting in immunization programs
- Supporting epidemic control measures
For Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Female)/ANM:
- Providing maternal and child healthcare services
- Conducting antenatal and postnatal care
- Assisting in deliveries in emergency situations
- Providing family planning services and counseling
- Conducting immunization for children and pregnant women
- Maintaining health records of mothers and children
- Conducting health education for women and adolescents
- Participating in national health programs implementation
For Health Supervisor:
- Supervising the work of health workers
- Conducting regular field visits for monitoring
- Ensuring proper implementation of health programs
- Conducting training and capacity building of health workers
- Preparing and submitting reports to higher authorities

For Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male):
- Educational Qualification:
- Higher Secondary (10+2) passed from a recognized board
- Health Worker (Male) Course from a recognized institute
- OR
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with Biology as a subject in Higher Secondary
- Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge with certification in computer application
- Language: Ability to read, write, and speak Bengali
For Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Female)/ANM:
- Educational Qualification:
- Higher Secondary (10+2) passed from a recognized board
- ANM Training Course from a recognized institute
- Registration with the West Bengal Nursing Council
- Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge
- Language: Ability to read, write, and speak Bengali
For Health Supervisor:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- Diploma in Health Supervision OR Health Inspector Course from a recognized institute
- OR
- Graduate in Public Health/Community Health/Health Management
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare/public health sector
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer applications with certification
- Language: Ability to read, write, and speak Bengali
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years as on January 1, 2024
- Maximum Age: 40 years as on January 1, 2024
