Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria
For Principal Scientist:
- Educational Qualification: Doctoral degree in relevant agricultural discipline
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in research/teaching/extension education in the relevant subject, with evidence of research publications
- Age Limit: 50 years (as on August 5, 2024)
For Senior Scientist:
- Educational Qualification: Doctoral degree in relevant agricultural discipline
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in research/teaching/extension education in the relevant subject
- Publications: Must have published at least 5 research papers in high-impact journals
- Age Limit: 45 years (as on August 5, 2024)
For Scientist:
- Educational Qualification: Doctoral degree in relevant agricultural discipline OR Master's degree with 3 years of research experience
- Essential Qualification: NET (National Eligibility Test) qualification
- Age Limit: 35 years (as on August 5, 2024)
For Technical Officer:
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree in relevant agricultural discipline
- Experience: 2 years of research/field experience in relevant area
- Age Limit: 35 years (as on August 5, 2024)
For Research Associate:
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree in relevant agricultural discipline with 4 years/5 years Bachelor's degree OR Doctoral degree in relevant subject
- Age Limit: 32 years (as on August 5, 2024)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC candidates: 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years
- Women candidates: 5 years
- Government employees/ICAR employees: As per rules
